First, I am grateful to the wonderful women (and men) who have devoted their time and energy into helping create this art. Thank you for sharing a part of yourselves and having the courage and strength to do it proudly.

DesnudoSoul began as a nameless project. I set out to capture the passion and romance of a few select open-minded friends in their most intimate of moments. These friends invited me into their lives, allow me to witness their expressions of love, tender touches, and sometimes organic bliss. Unexpectedly, a few "fun" shoots turned into a passion for the art of freezing time in moments we wish would never end. The images are sometimes erotic, others a peak into the soul, and occasionally emotional.

Yes, most of my work involves nudity in some form or another. It is only when we are nude that we have nothing to hide behind. It is that moment when we are most honest. Honest with ourselves. Honest with others.

Nudity gives me hope. Not porn nudity or the assembly-line nudity so prevalent across the internet. But average nudity, playful nudity, or even passionate nudity. I seek out nakedness as a form of honesty in hopes that some day we (all of us) might eventually shed the last of this world's puritanical bullshit of shame and guilt that taints our culture.
